It's ok to snack!

April E news

Do you know that snacks are categorized into 2 types?

There is one that you eat to get rid of that sudden hunger in between meal times, and another one that you provide as an appetizer to your guests during parties.

Serving up a snack before dinner to your guests is actually a tradition. This snack is also called "aperitif". The word "aperitif" derived from the Latin verb "aperire", meaning to open. Hence, the snack serves the purpose of working up an appetite for the main course.

As opposed to opening up your appetite before your meal, the snack that you have between meals would help to curb the hunger pangs you have while you are at work. These snacks are usually small sandwiches or crackers that would give you energy boosts to concentrate on what you are doing.

Appetizer or energy boost, Ayam Brand has an array of recipes on delicious snacks! Try them out today!
