HOW TO PACK A HEALTHY LUNCH

finalgiveaway1

Buying lunch everyday especially when trying to opt for the healthier option can be pricey. Taking a healthy (and yummy) packed lunch to work is one of the simplest ways to trim your budget.

Beyond cost savings, packing your lunch allows you to have greater control of your portions and choose healthier ingredients.

What makes up a healthy lunch?

Experts recommend including some lean or low-fat protein (eg tuna fish) together with carbohydrates to keep your body fuelled for the afternoon. Combining protein and fibre from assorted vegetables or whole grains provides you a nutritious combination of foods to keep you full till dinner.
