Christmas Pudding

Ingredients:

¼ cup washed short grain rice

1 tsp butter

1 stick cinnamon

1 cup water

1½ cup Ayam Brand Trim Coconut Milk

¼ cup cow milk

2 tbsp condensed milk
-
3-4 tbsp sugar
-
Roasted nuts
-
1 tbsp vanilla essence

Pinch of salt
Preparation:

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

Add cinnamon and washed short-grain rice. Stir and cook for a minute to infuse the flavours.

Pour a cup of water into the saucepan and bring it to a simmer. Let it cook until the rice absorbs most of the water.

Reduce the heat and add trim coconut milk and cow milk. Gently stir and bring it to a simmer.

Add sugar, condensed milk, vanilla essence, and a pinch of salt to taste. Stir until well combined.

Top it with roasted nuts for added crunch and flavour.

Continue cooking for about 5 minutes on low heat, allowing the flavors to meld and the rice to become creamy.

Serve the delightful dessert warm or chilled, and enjoy!
